Our Festivals and Parent Education Meetings
At Honeycomb Cottage School, we have a vibrant community that celebrates festivals throughout the year. Our festivals are inspired by Waldorf traditions and the rhythm of the year. They provide opportunities for families to come together and create meaningful memories and to strengthen our community. We also have a Treasuring Childhood Parent Education Series that is scheduled 2-4 times a school year.

Thu, Mar 27Honeycomb Cottage SchoolCurrent Families and friends of the cottage school are invited to attend our Spring Faire. We will have class presentations, a community meal, and a student makers-market. We will celebrate the spring equinox, Easter and Ostara and remember we are now in a seasons of growth and expansion!
Thu, Feb 13Honeycomb Cottage SchoolCurrent families and friends of the cottage school are encouraged to join us at our Candlemas and Valentines Festival, the Festival of Hope and Love. We will share class presentations, a community meal, have a candle making station, and remember together the hope of spring and the love we share.
Thu, Dec 19Honeycomb Cottage SchoolEnrolled families and friends of the cottage school are invited to celebrate with us at our Winter Faire the Festival of Light. We will share class presentations, an Angel Room where children can select gifts for their families, a commuity meal, and an Advent Spiral experience.
Thu, Nov 07Highland Glen ParkCurrent families and friends of the cottage school are encourage to join us for Martinmas the Festival of Charity. We will be gathing clothing items for charity in the spirit of St. Martin, singing songs, enjoying a warm cup of cider and soup, and walking together for a Lantern Walk in the woods.

Tue, Sep 03Honeycomb Cottage SchoolAll enrolled familes are encouraged to join our Sunflower Bridge Ceremony where we will welcome the children into their classes for our new school year together.
