Candlemas/Valentine's-Festival of Hope and Love

Current families and friends of the cottage school are encouraged to join us at our Candlemas and Valentines Festival, the Festival of Hope and Love. We will share class presentations, a community meal, have a candle making station, and remember together the hope of spring and the love we share.

About the Event
Candlemas marks the halfway point from the winter solstice to the spring equinox. It reminds us that the light is strengthing and that we are beginning to spiral out from the dark days of winter into the new life of spring. It is a time to gather together in this hope and share a meal and class presentations. We will be making candles to take home and we will be collecting hygiene items for our local community. We will remember the love we have for each other and the community as we also approach Valentine's Day and the month of Love.
