Current families and friends of the cottage school are encourage to join us for Martinmas the Festival of Charity. We will be gathing clothing items for charity in the spirit of St. Martin, singing songs, enjoying a warm cup of cider and soup, and walking together for a Lantern Walk in the woods.

About the Event
Martinmas marks the halfway point of the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. It is a time when the days have less light, and we see signs of the impending winter. We as a community bring the light into this twilight season of the year by gathering together with the physical light of our lanterns. We will also share in some warming foods and drinks together as well as share the inner light of our hearts with songs. We will be collecting winter clothing and blanket in the Spirit of St. Martin for the greater community.
